Govana leads Guinness ‘Lovely Day’ local campaign

Guinness has tapped dancehall powerhouse Govana as the face of its new Lovely Day for a Guinness campaign in Jamaica, a global platform now reimagined for the island’s vibrant culture and music scene.

The campaign, first unveiled internationally earlier this year, celebrates the beauty of everyday connections, those moments of unity, joy, and togetherness that make life feel fuller. From passionate football fans in Europe to families sharing laughter across the US, Guinness has been showcasing what it calls “Lovely Days” around the world.

Now, Jamaica’s turn has arrived with Govana leading the charge. His lyrical sharpness, confident delivery, and fearless originality reflect the same boldness that Guinness has brewed into its heritage for over 260 years.

“Guinness has always been part of the culture. This link-up is about keeping that legacy alive and creating moments that connect with the people,” Govana said.

For Guinness Jamaica, the partnership is about embedding the brand even deeper in the fabric of Jamaican life.

“This is another step in our journey to create experiences that feel true to Jamaica — energetic, connected, and real,” said Nadine Hylton, brand manager for Guinness. “Through Govana, we’re amplifying the local voice of a global story, showing that every day can be a lovely day for a Guinness.”

The collaboration also follows the success of Guinness Pull Up, the brand’s immersive entertainment series that fuses sound system culture, dancehall artistry, and Guinness’ signature boldness.
